About Jennifer L. Gordon
Jennifer Gordon is a partner and has been with the firm since 2026. Her practice is focused on intellectual property and corporate law and related litigation. Jennifer has represented clients in many industries, including software design and implementation, manufacturing, supplements and food service, advertising and marketing, agriculture, and logistics. Jennifer has secured trademark and copyright protection for both businesses and individual clients and has successfully litigated on behalf of clients in both pursuing and defending infringement claims. Jennifer also assists clients in conducting audits of their intellectual property portfolios and constructing strategies for the protection of their intellectual property and the security of their valuable information.
Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer was a partner at two boutique corporate practice firms in Chicago and the intellectual property practice leader at a multi-practice firm with offices in Chicago, Georgia, and Florida. Jennifer has litigated intellectual property and related matters in the federal courts of the Northern District of Illinois, the Southern District of Florida, the Southern District of Indiana, the Middle District of Georgia, the Northern District of California, the District of Utah, and the Eastern District of Arkansas, as well as various state court matters. Jennifer is admitted to practice as a patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Jennifer received her law degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, and her undergraduate degree in computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has practiced law since 2009 and has always resided in the Chicagoland area with her family. In addition to her practice, Jennifer is also a committee member of the Intellectual Property Section of the Illinois State Bar Association where she assists in preparing and presenting continuing education seminars.
