Bob concentrates his practice on intellectual property counseling, patent portfolio strategies and management, patent infringement and validity studies and clearance opinions, and the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a wide variety of electrical, software, medical, computer, imaging, telecommunications, and mechanical technologies. His background includes working closely with clients to secure patent protection that meets their business objectives.
Bob’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, universities, and small to mid-size companies. He focuses his efforts on learning the client’s technology and business, so the client and he work proactively as strategic partners in achieving the best protection available.
Previously, Bob was a director and founding partner with other intellectual property law firms in Chicago. He also practiced in a large law firm and corporate patent department. In addition, he has been a speaker and author on current topics in intellectual property law.
